Overall, the Etos Body Butter to Oil makes my skin look nicely radiant and definitely helps with hydration. I like that it leaves a layer but it does feel a bit sticky on my hands, so I have to wash them after applying this product. The oil doesn’t completely disappear in my skin and leaves a thin layer, which does not dry. The butter has a nice scent, I can’t really place what it exactly is but it smells very perfume-y. It does melt immediately when rubbing the product on my skin. I thought that the butter would melt quickly when holding it for a minute due to the warmth but it doesn’t really melt completely. The butter feels soft so it’s easy to scoop up a bit of product. It contains a rich combination of shea butter, cocoa butter, babassu oil, macadamia oil and vitamin E that is supposed to hydrate intensively and make a dull skin looking radiant and feeling soft.
It has a solid, buttery texture that changes into an oil when massaged into the skin. The Etos Body Butter to Oil (€4,99) comes in a plastic, transparent jar and contains 150 mL of product. I did have classes in organic chemistry a long time ago but it isn’t my specialty, so I do what everyone basically does, Google! I’m not going to elaborate on the list but if you want more information regarding a specific ingredient, let me know in the comments and I will try to explain it as much as I can. The year 2017 has started with very cold weather here in the Netherlands. My skin has become really dry after returning from my Holidays to Thailand. I’m not even kidding, my skin is so extremely dry that it has a white cast and looks leathery.
